Some of the best candidates we’ve ever placed came through a genuine introduction, not a job board. If you know a qualified solicitor who might be open to a conversation about their next move, we’d love to hear from you.
- Up to £1,500 for every successful referral
- Paid in three stages, the first as soon as they register
- Take it as cash, vouchers, or a donation to a charity you choose
Who Can Refer
The scheme is open to individuals. You don’t need to work in law, you don’t need to know us already, and there’s no limit on how many people you introduce.
The person you refer needs to be a qualified solicitor. They don’t have to be new to us either: reconnecting us with someone we’d gone quiet on counts just the same.

How It Works
Four steps, three payments, and no chasing us for an update.
Introduce us
Send us the details of a qualified solicitor you think we should speak to, with their permission.
We register them
Once they’ve had an initial call with us and are registered, you receive your first payment.
They start their new role
If they start in a role we’ve placed them in, you receive a second payment.
They settle in
Once they’ve successfully completed their probation period, you receive the final payment.
What You Could Earn
Up to £1,500 per successful placement, at the same rate whatever the level of the role, from newly qualified through to partner.
£500 on registration.
A thank-you as soon as your introduction has spoken to us and joined the database. You get this whether or not they go on to move.
£500 on day one.
Paid when they start a role we placed them in. No waiting on invoices or anything else at our end.
£500 once settled.
The final payment once they’ve completed their probation period and the move has stuck.
Take it as a bank transfer, as vouchers for a retailer of your choice, or ask us to donate some or all of it to a charity you care about.

The Small Print
- The scheme is for referrals of qualified solicitors only.
- They don’t have to be new to us. Reconnecting us with someone we’d gone quiet on counts too, though it doesn’t count if they’re already actively engaged with us, for example interviewing or on a live role.
- We pay one fee per candidate, but there’s no limit on how many referrals you make.
- Please get the candidate’s permission before referring them to us.
- Referring is yours to clear with your own employer where relevant, and to declare to HMRC where applicable.
- Bovelle can amend or withdraw the scheme at any time, without affecting referrals already in progress.
- In the event of a dispute over eligibility, Bovelle’s decision is final.
