Regulatory
Regulatory Law: Partner (Fee Share), UK-Wide.
An award-winning, growing fee-share law firm is looking for a Regulatory Partner, from any regulatory specialism, who wants to run their practice on their own terms, with real control over their clients and their earnings, but without giving up the support, culture and sense of team you'd expect from a traditional firm.

The Real Talk
This is a fee-share firm that doesn't feel like one. The model gives you the autonomy and the financial transparency lawyers go fee-share for: you own your client relationships, you decide how you work, and you're rewarded directly for the work you bring in and do. What sets this firm apart is that it hasn't stripped out everything else that makes a firm worth belonging to. There's real infrastructure, a collaborative partner community, regular opportunities to connect, and a firm that cares whether you're enjoying what you do. If you're weighing up a move to a traditional firm against going fee-share, this is built to be the best of both.
The firm is open to Regulatory Partners from any specialism. Whatever your area, you get the freedom to advise your own clients on your own terms, and colleagues across other practice areas to refer into and draw on when a matter crosses disciplines, as regulatory work often does.
What You’ll Actually Be Doing
- Building and running your own Regulatory practice in your specialism, advising clients on compliance, investigations, enforcement and regulatory strategy
- Bringing your existing client following and growing it, with control over how you service and price your work
- Advising on regulatory risk and engagement with regulators, from day-to-day compliance questions through to contentious matters
- Collaborating with partners across other practice areas, such as corporate, employment and dispute resolution, to offer clients a joined-up service
- Contributing to a supportive, collegiate partner community rather than working in isolation
What We Need From You
- Qualified solicitor with substantial experience in a regulatory specialism, at or approaching Partner level
- Any regulatory area considered, for example financial services, healthcare, data and privacy, environmental, or professional conduct
- A client following you can realistically bring with you, or a clear route to building one
- An entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable running your own practice and taking ownership of business development
- Someone who values autonomy but also wants to be part of a team and a culture
- Happy to work in a flexible, largely remote way within a UK-wide partner network
The Offer
- Salary: £150,000 – £300,000
- Flexibility: Complete control over where, when and how you work, UK-wide
- Remuneration: Fee share on your collected billings, with full transparency on how it is calculated - up to 90%
- The bit worth highlighting: The control and earning potential of fee-share, within a firm with the culture, infrastructure and community of a traditional one, and the freedom to bring your own regulatory specialism
